Again...if you guys are spending more then $500 a month on kicks...you either need to start spending more time in the outlet thread...or get your connects up cause your clearly hustlin backwards...

Why does it matter how much money people spend on kicks?
Like who cares?

$50 or $550

Like why doesn't that matter?

How is that hustling backwards? Everything ain't hitting outlets or getting discounted.
If someone has the money to spend $500 in a month, that's their business..
Their personal life and responsibilities are none of your business.

Dont worry about them. Just worry about yourself.

Sometimes you dudes crack me up....RIF homie...the ORGINAL poster (which clearly you didn't bother to read) is upset SPECFICALLY because the limit was lowered from $1000 to $500...my comments...and numerous other comments is that $500 a month...EVERY month ($6000 per year also NOT including E/A which will have there OWN separate limit) should be MORE then enough...

Honestly I could careless if some kid who makes $7 dollars an hour but decides to spend more the $6000 a year on kicks is doing...that's his/her own business...but don't come on here crying about it...if you do then someone needs to let you know that your stupid...

In terms of hustlin backward...I been doing this kicks thing for a loooooooooong time...I'm at the point I don't NEED to ever purchase another pair of kicks at retail again...over the years I've built my outlet connects and get the drop on ALOT of B grades that hit the shelves...and if YOU think that EVERY sneaker that Nike produces doesn't at some point make it to an outlet for dumb cheap..you need to drop my dude Flipjays a PM and let him school you ....

And in case you don't know who that is...homie has listed just about every premium sneaker from Yeezys to SB to SJ to Jordans in B grade form..I don't know HOW he does it but he does...

As one of my connects says retail is for sucka's...

Oh.. And BTW..my dudes who work for NIke...where they REALLY monitor there swoosh and what they buy on discount...also don't make ALOT and the discount is only 30% but they use there position to build connects with other dudes in other Nikes or other footwear spots (Ubiq, Alife, HOH etc) so that everyone benefits from each others connects...

And again..if you work In a sneakerspot for BS money and ain't figuring out how to build connects outside your store/company to get what you need for cheap...your hustlin backwards homie...

That has nothing to do with what I'm saying.
And if you read my comments.. I'm not complaining about the discounts

I work at FootLocker, and have access to Swoosh account and everything as well.
Rarely so I pay retail for a sneaker either.

I don't what's the point in dissing a person that works at FootLocker.. A job is a job.

I guess your talking about me

And yeah, I work at FTL, only part time tho
I work full time in the medical field.

And yeah.. I'm not gonna be ashamed..

I do spend $500+ on sneakers a month..

But...

I have my own car
I dont live with my parents
I'm in college
And I have medical degrees

I just choose to work at FTL on the weekend.. And the discount is just a perk.

I don't care about none of that other stuff

I don't need to PM anybody, cause anything I need, I'll get it, trust and believe... HOMIE

Thanks for not responding to any of my answers...

Again the orginal post is bitching about the cut in amount not discount...

I'm not dissing MALL employees..$!!* I worked in the mall when I was a kid...

Funny how you didn't address your outlet don't get everything comment...

My advise to you is focus MORE on you REAL job and maybe you wont need a second job...
^
That most likely goes wayyyyy over your head so you keep hustlin those kicks...

Btw /thread please...we've all gone wayyyyy past what the Orginal topic was about..

At first, I thought you were address it to me.
I thought you thought I was conplaining.. If your comments weren't addressed to me, my bad.

As far as my outlet.. My Nike outlet is wack, the one near me gets literally nothing hot. Lol

So I have to get my NY people to cop or my Cali heads.

As far as my job is concerned.. That's my passion, sneakers is what I like. I like to be around sneakers.. I like to make sure people are outfitted properly.
I like to make sure sure basketball players or people from my neighborhood get the right shoes.. Not just ones in the parents/families price range..

Even if that means me takes $10-$15 off

Thats me, my neighborhood took care of me, I like to give back

I think FTL is a half-way decent company of you ask me, I don't bother them, they don't bother me.

And far as my job(s), I don't need a second job, I chose to have a 2nd job

And me hustling kicks, I never hustled kicks

I helped people who can't get kicks get them.
People that don't have a hoh or Niketown near them, I help them.
I don't charge rape prices or kill peoples pockets.
I help, not everyone is forunate.

And if you peep the sig, I don't even do that anymore.

I think these are some of the dumbest comments.

I will definitely be the first that I'll try to negotiate or "haggle" for a better price.

I work in banking and I have some wealthy clients.  You might be surprised that some of them actually drive hondas and hybrids because they're more economical.  They don't all drive mercedes or bmw's.  And they do shop around and negotiate the best prices.  One couple drove 85 miles to get a car for $2500 below retail.

So call it what you will, but some would say smart business.

why do you sound like a salty reseller? smiley: laugh if you feel that way b take your talents yo Ebay to sell stuff, and have your stuff at da mercy of current market value...

how does he stating that someone is cheap make him a salty reseller?

its the truth, NTers are cheap, it has nothing to do with being a reseller.

dudes beg for favors, then wanna give you less than what you paid for, or expect you to eat shipping, etc.

not a employee but i dont see this as bad at all. your getting 40 off now just like nike employees ( last i remember everyone wanted a swoosh account). plus its not every month that has crazy releases like next month so at the end of the day you should be ok if your buying for yourself. If you use it as a side hustle your still fine there is always a few employees that dont even buy kicks so just use theirs..

whats the rules with this new card system. if all you need is this card and no type of id it seem like the company doesnt really care about you hooking others up. they are just leaving in your hands to monitor yourself and make sure you dont go over.

The card contains your name and information. They also added the new card system because there are ALOT of previous employees that were still getting the discount because their pay stub still could scan. With the new cards that means as of right now only current employees can get the discount.
