It's definitely pretty good.  There is not much else you would need more speed for.  My Fios home service runs at around that speed as well:

i never get over 1mb upload. ive gotten low 20s download tho and over mid 20s on my desktop since thats connected wired

Runs about $120 a month with phone/tv/internet.  It's a Verizon connection that they advertise as fiber optics (Verizon Fios), so I'd assume it to be.

Speedtest.net is a natural hater.  How are they going to give this a rating of 2.8 when it is double that of the Fios speeds which ranked 3.2
