I'm just trying to get an idea of how much different rappers charge for a show. Trying to compare up and comers vs. top rappers vs. washups

I know EMC got paid a total of 2 stacks for headlining a show they did in LA. Plus you have to fly an artist out and pay for their hotel costs if they're from out of town.

this thread comes up from time to time-

theres too many variables to say $XX amount-

venue
what you want them to do / type of show
timing - like are they bout to drop an album, do they have a hot song buzzing etc etc
location- are they in the area already or do they have to fly to Alaska
who you talk to
who you know

if you have no connects- your best bet is to hit one of these booking agencys - they do all the legwork for you and they will give you current quotes for your event with their fee added in of course-

~They're running a strange program, y'all. More poor and disenfranchised folks than the US has ever seen~
~Meanwhile the rich get richer and the poor don't get a damn thing~
~Times like these people wanna get high....real high and real fast~
~And this is gonna do it...and make us rich!~

I have a pretty expansive list saved on my home computer...if this thread doesn't get buried by later tonight I'll list some amounts of certain people...I was letting figures go on twitter the this past Friday...

Figures I remember...and these don't include artist riders and additional expenses....and these are the prices THIS particular service could get all these artists for (prices can vary depending on promoter, venue, etc)

OJ da Juiceman - 9,500
Jones - 15k
Lil Jon (to host party) - 11k-15k
Twista - 7,500 (crazy considering how huge he once was in the mainstream)
T.I. - WAS 105k starting price back in Dec.Didn't get an updated price, but I'm sure over the past couple of months that price rose considerably

Don't remember any more off the top of my head...I had other people like Drake, Cudi, Gucci Mane, Jeezy, Lil Boosie, Keri Hilson, Juvenile, Young Berg on there. I remember artists like Gucci, Jeezy had pretty decent figures.

All the talk about Gucci now is that he's getting 28-30k a show.

T.I. - WAS 105k
That @++@ is crazy b/c I remember him getting somewhere in the neighborhood of 6-7k a show. This was in '02-'03.
